LOL...I wish I could. :) If you really are interested...I might be able to get you a discount...but it won't be huge.

iskor12 are you a FFL?

Only when I am on the clock at work. I am then covered under LMT's FFL, which allows me to shoot full auto rifles and grenade launchers while on the clock. Fun stuff. LOL
I have many hours of test firing under my belt. Easily Hundred thousand rounds +. :)
I am mildly suprised that I never got lead poisoning or Lost hearing.

Otherwise, I do have a FOID card, which is required by Illinois State Law, which allows me to buy and shoot Semi-Auto weapons and ammo.

I'm an independent software developer. Have a degree in math and systems programming, but never had to use it once and don't want to (I'm the worst employee ever).
My projects:
Spider Player - The Ultimate Music Player
Top Stocks app for webOS
Actually, I've been thinking for a long time now, maybe I should leave programming for something else? So I got into financial markets a year ago and eventually lost all my money. Since then I accumulated some savings and now want to spend them all to get lost in Africa for a week or too and then will be thinking what to do next :undecided:

Anyway, if you need some help with programming / ISV business, I might be able to give a useful advice.

Fabrication welder here. I make all kinds of things..
There isn't much i don't like about this job except the occasional burn. It pays well, the days go fast.. and nobody cares when i show up in my E.A.D.B. & FYYFF T shirts.
:na:

My dad got my into welding when i was young, then got me a job doin it when i was about 19.. been there ever since.

Now my boy is 9 and what do ya know..

I currently work for a high grade electronics company who mainly make connectors, but also do a lot of backplanes, and other boards. We make stuff for gas companys, a lot of telecommunication stuff, and other stuff im n ot really sure what it is/or does. Im currently working on the testing section. making sure it all works. But have a LOT to learn...

I plan to use there facilities as much as possible for Laser related stuff.

i work at a sewage treatment plant in charleston, IL. its a sh!tty yet cool job. i usually work the weekend position. i usually help with mechanical repairs and am the only one who can make a nice weld. currently, the other guys and girl are repairing a large anaerobic digester.
on average, we treat 2 to 4 million gallons / 24 hours. we can take up to 6mgd which is about 4200 GPM. most of the stuff ie pumps and grinders and level sensors are tied into a computer known as a SCADA. it a cool thought that i can turn on a monster 200 hp electric pump with a few mouse clicks.

Maintenance Supervisor we process 2.5 to 3.1 million birds a week every week
largest kill capacity under one roof in the world

Thought I would start a thread for ppl to post thier occupation. I can see this being helpful if some of us have some skills that may be useful to others to aid in thier builds or other projects.

What I do:
I am a Surveyor (not to be comfused with a surveyer giving surveys :P) I do land development and mapping. We us subcentimeter accuracy gps, "total stations", transits and various other measuring devices. I am also an AutoCAD drafter with 10+yrs experience.

What I can offer:
If anyone ever needs help with AutoCAD or anything like that please PM me I have already helped a cpl of ppl on the forums with a few drawings.

Another surveyor : ) Though I am merely a fill in surveying assistant but can run the total stations and have some experience with the gps "TDS Recons" to I did help set up our base station that we don’t have hooked up yet ( should have a 20mi reach from our office allowing us to gps almost everything we do without setting up another base station )

I am mainly a GIS ( geographic Information System ) analysis, I basically make really fancy maps from really good satellites and flown photographs and here in the north Texas area can do 1' contorts : )

Also is an assistant AutoCAD technician to help draw up the surveys and can do mechanical drawings with my 3+ year’s experience.

and to top it all off at my same job I am also the network technicians keeping all the computer up and running and keeping our central severing backing up on its own because nobody else will : )

I'm currently a fulltime student; I use to work fulltime nightshift driving trucks but I'm currently on paid suspension; knocked over a lamp post, company was not happy.
