With this host you MUST you the 3AAA holder. I was planning on using 3 10440s in parallel but the AAA holder is different then most and a bit of the pain in the ass.

If I can mod it to use 3 10440s in series would it work better? If so I need a lot of help.

I understand it would work better, but I would be a lot of work to mod the holder....

that driver would need to be taken out or modded. i tore one apart and even had a heat sink made for it. before i realized that the driver doesn't even come close to supplying enough current for the 445. it would be a good 8x blu ray driver though

If you didn't want anyone to comment then you should have
waited until you had a finished product... IMO

This is why its not released yet.... Because its not finished! The laser works using 3AAA. But since its better to use 10440s Im going to try to mod it.
