so would a regular 9 volt last about 1 hour on a 90 ma driver.

All the diodes will be actively cooled and mode stabilized probably using a master/slave arrangement or Fabry-Perot etelons. I'm really glad I don't have to pay for all of this haha. I am guessing that the prototype will cost us upwards of $10k to put together. This isn't too bad though since theyre paying like $5k per 300mW 453nm blue they have right now.

We turned it up to 100mA today and will keep bumping it up every 3 days or so till it dies I think. On a side note. I finally got around to building my own! So much cooler when it's not stuck in the lab. Only took me 3 diode to get it working too. : Good thing I get paid This week and can buy a bunch from geeks.com
