the Asian dude Is a real dickhead for getting that tat :na:
You have to wonder who will regret their tat more, him, or the guy with hello kitty on his forehead

Is that a Schwarzsonne on your back or an Asian similarity?
After 12 years of being a tattoo artist. I have yet to find an after care cream better than BEPANTHEN#Part of the aftercare process is regularly moisturizing with tattoo safe lotion. Most folks overmoisturize and the tat can get ruined (ink bleeds out and skin turns to mush). Basically you just want to keep it moist enough to prevent cracking and scarring, no more than that. Don't let dry skin hold you back, just don't cheap/laze out in the aftercare department.
I've tried all the major skin care brands and most industry specific stuff and found that I like the Tat Soul Pride Aftercare lotion, H2Ocean Blue-Green Foam Soap, and H2Ocean Ocean Foam best. The trick is knowing your body and how much of each to use when.
I liked Aquatat as a replacement for A&D ointment during the tattoo process as it seems to lubricate the needle better for a softer insertion, but it is harder to work with and showed no improvement in healing time over A&D. It certainly does reduce pain though and feels a lot more soothing than A&D.
