Tattoos anyone?

The two (or is it 3? ) triangle tat is superb. I love simple , yet complex stuff like that.

Ah, my Valknut, why thank you! Yes I have seen a few variants of this icon and none really compare to this one. The other variants are all terribly cluttered and it really loses the sharp clarity that makes it striking then.

Btw, my next tattoo is scheduled for the 6th of July. I challenge anyone who thinks their google-foo is strong to find an image of it; Beheader of Isthiak from Everquest Online Adventures (EQOA).

Nope. Hint: black and red coloration. SOE decided to take down 99.9% of all EQOA imaging, websites, forums, and data when they turned our servers off early '12. They don't even list it in their list of games they produced. They're trying to erase us pretty much.

Awesome, very kind! I may have to take you up on that when I finally get across the pond one day!

:( Back to Google :)

Edit...

Ok, you win this time Sig, Your Google-Fu is strong.

I do want Tats, but I've got really dry skin that cream doesn't fix :( some nice Tats on here :D

Part of the aftercare process is regularly moisturizing with tattoo safe lotion. Most folks overmoisturize and the tat can get ruined (ink bleeds out and skin turns to mush). Basically you just want to keep it moist enough to prevent cracking and scarring, no more than that. Don't let dry skin hold you back, just don't cheap/laze out in the aftercare department.

I've tried all the major skin care brands and most industry specific stuff and found that I like the Tat Soul Pride Aftercare lotion, H2Ocean Blue-Green Foam Soap, and H2Ocean Ocean Foam best. The trick is knowing your body and how much of each to use when.

I liked Aquatat as a replacement for A&D ointment during the tattoo process as it seems to lubricate the needle better for a softer insertion, but it is harder to work with and showed no improvement in healing time over A&D. It certainly does reduce pain though and feels a lot more soothing than A&D.

The problem is, my skin is always cracked and also shed skin daily :/ it's hard to keep it moisturised

Exactly this. It took till my second tattoo until I started to figure that out. For me personally I still prefer A&D very light for the first 2 or 3 days. Afterwards something mild and unscented until it's fully healed. (Both Avon and Vaseline make a decent lotion, although I can't think of the names right now.)

Also as far as cleaning goes during the healing process the only thing I like to use is Provon medicated soap. IMHO This is some of the best stuff on earth. :)

Got my latest tat done! Little swollen, which makes the lines look a bit curved and not straight, but that will sort itself out.

It is the Shadowknight only lvl50 epic quest reward. It was roughly 10 years ago this month that I created my SK and my love for all things fantasy really bloomed.

Ahh... the Beheader :) I was waiting to see that. Thanks for sharing Sig
