So, first let me say sorry for digging up such an old post. However I would rather add to this thread then creating a new one.
I have three, but I'm always thinking about adding more.
My first (Right Arm):
That was straight out of the books of flash. I've had this guy since about 2005 and he is a little faded and in need of some touch up now. The pic was taken some time ago, he's actually a little more worse for wear now.
My second one: (Left Arm. EMTs and future doctors take notice!)
Most people will tell you tattoos are usually only meaningful to you; This one is an exception.
I hate medic alert jewelry and I can't forget to wear this one. I only hope if someone finds me passed out one day that they see this. (If it wasn't for work, I would have modified this one to be on my wrist)
My latest: (Upper right side of my chest)
You may have noticed my new avitar and were wondering if that was really me. Yep. My wife got her third tattoo on the Friday before New Years Eve. I couldn't be outdone, so I went back on NYE and had the same artist do this one for me. I had been thinking about a laser related tattoo for some time and it just felt right.
This one is healing at the moment. This is the stage of getting a tattoo that I always hate. With me a diabetic mine usually take awhile to heal. I figure I have at least a couple more weeks of discomfort.
I only recently started researching the UV reactive tattoo inks, I asked my artist about them and he does use them, so when this one is healed up, it may be time to add an outline or highlights that will only show when you aim a (low power!) 405 laser or UV flashlight at it.
Interesting story; It looks like I'm copying the one that Yob has. The odd thing is I've seen his avatar (not the current one, but the one prior to it), hundreds of times and it never clicked that it was actually a tattoo! (Yeah I think it's time for the glasses)
Here is the image I mocked up to give my artist. I opted to not do the yellow background.
Edit: Sorry if the photo's are too large for anyone.
