OMG is that an MXDl 3W i see there ? one of my favourite lights? how much would you sell me a host like that for ?

It is a 3W MXDL  (uses 1CR123), twist to turn on. It used to say police, or something on it. I wasn't very happy with the green dye I used on it the first-time, so it is now stripped back to bare aluminum and waiting a new anodize-job in the morning, any requests?

yes i request it in the colour "Renault Liquid yellow" lol i love these lights, i have two of these lights at home (one in silver and one in grey), one with a 635nm 10mw laser in it and one modded with a aspherical lense and i love them both so an anodized one to add to my collection would be awesome lol

There is NO method for taking apart a DJR tailcap and having it survive.  I've taken one apart and it does not go back together.  That being said, someone will prove me wrong.  It always happens whenever I say something like this, that someone pops up with "OH REALLY?!?! Explain this Mr. Knowitall!"
