Severely cut my thumb

Tried to bash a mason jar onto the end of a cloths line pole, the jar broke and I suppose a 1inch+ piece ripped clean thorough my ring finger on my right hand to the bone, ripping 75% of one tendon and 36% of the other, had to have surgery....this was in 5th grade just before summer vacation.

Only one time did I ever fall 45 feet down an elevator shaft :yabbem:
smacked into the top of a moving elevator, and the people inside the elevator thought they were in trouble
They had no idea I was on the roof of the elevator, they just thought they were going to die.

That explains a lot.:p

I must be crazy :O!

I have gotten cuts alot worse than that and just put bandaids over them and baby the cut for a week or so. Then again I am the kind of person who wont go to the hospital unless I am "obviously SEVERELY hurt or dying"

Anyway I am glad you did not get cut any worse. That is a really bad cut you got. Glad they managed to patch you up ^^. Try to be more careful next time!

You're not crazy... if I can stop bleeding myself I'm not going to hospital:tinfoil:

I went out to a party last january, with a a big cut on my left pointer finger. Had quite a few drinks. At some point the bandage fell off.

Inadvertently completely freaked out this one girl... apparently bleeding on the girl you're making out with, on her white shirt is no good:undecided: I'll see if I can find a pic one of my friends took.

It looked like I stabbed her since my hand was on the small of her back and she had a huge bloody spot there.

She was actually completely ok about the whole thing, but her best friend completely freaked when she saw:shhh::crackup:

I bet that must have been pretty awkward! I can imagine you and your friends will never forget that!

Umm, as the title states... I was working with a stanly knife when it slipped and sliced a 1cm + deep slice in the bottom part of my thumb :(
It would have been _FAR_ cooler if you had cut yourself with a laser!

EDIT: and less bloody :)

Well, fortunately most of my friends were literally passed out drunk or close to it. I was actually one of the more sober ones there, but yeah... having her best friend practically jump me was weird. Her douche of a boyfriend also got kind of in my face before realizing what actually happened.

It's not a night I will forget anytime soon, that's for sure:o

You know what the worst part is? With all the confusion I didn't get her full name or number:( Would have made an awesome "how we met" story:)

^LMAO, you guys are hilarious :tinfoil:

Well, I was kicking a fence for no reason once, thats what I do when im bored :wtf: and I felt something puncture my shoe... Sure enough it was a nail. When I went home I took my shoes and socks off and there was a hole in both my socks and my shoes...

The nail slipped inbetween my two toes! Pretty lucky :D

I have a collection of scars myself, because I am rather accident prone, like most of us.

So, backwards from most recent to furthest away,

- Cut my index finger open about 1 inch long and 4mm deep or so slicing tomatoes at work (managed to get a write-up for it, dripping blood on food and stuff -.-)
- Fell off a mountain (you know that mountain in Israel where the Israelis committed suicide instead of surrendering to the Romans in ancient times? Yeah, I fell off that mountain). Had a hanging flap of skin on my left forearm, tendon deep or so. Was kinda nasty, but I didn't notice it until someone pointed at me while I was walking away, "HEY, your arm is open!"
- Three days prior, I cut my index finger down the bone when my knife snapped on me while cleaning it.
- Quite a scar on my left big toe from power-washing it. The power-washer was... very strong. Shredded my toe down to the bone... was really pleasant. Blood just gushing and what not.

And, for the kicker!

- I fought a frakking tiger, and it cut me a 7 inch slice down the stomach. Not really, that's just what I tell people. I do have that scar though, because I had to have part of my large intestine removed. And now I have a fake belly-button!

Yeah I know that mountain. Masada. One of the worst hangovers of my life.

Our sadist, aka tour guide who just happened to be an endurance runner had our group run up those stairs... with good reason, to make it up before sunrise.

The impressive part is everyone made it.

The sunrise was beautiful and worth the run. Of course of out group of 14, 8 people puked. (No I wasn't one of them, but it was close:o)

Yeah, I was on a school trip, and us guys decided to try sprinting up the stairs... we stopped when we realized that there WERE stairs. Haha. But we got up for sunrise, which was amazing.

The part I fell down was the OTHER end of the mountain ;)

My legs were wobbly by the time I made it down... fresh squeezed juice never tasted so good:)

It was that day we were supposed to go into the dead sea, too. But I had a huge gash in my arm, so I got driven to Jerusalem to the hospital instead of going into the dead sea :P

Do you have national health care in Australia? If so go. If not, like here in the US you'd probably do fine if you just disinfect it and bandage well. Over the years I've stuck a knife thru through the web between my thumb and forefinger, and sliced the pad of my palm way deeper and longer than the cut on your finger and there's hardly any scarring from either even though I took care of the wounds myself due to lack of funds.
