Hi,
Paul.
Thank you this one took sometime but came out great . the sink can be removed to heat sink the driver to the copper wedge inside the main sink.

Rich:)

What hold the heat sink in place if it can be removed? I know that sinner would, at least sometimes, thread the heat sink and the host barrel. That would be a lot of work. What did you do to overcome this problem?

Hi Paul very simple i also though about threading , it take a long time to machine a piece so i bore out the back of the sink and fit it tight to the tube. And to hold it in place one 4-40 SS set screw keeps it tight . The AL is soft so the set screw bites the AL ,been making all my hosts this way except for the pens that are one piece.

Rich:)

hi,
its makes access easier and to work when building, The heat dissipation is the same . And if the customer breaks a wire off they can just push the contact board out through the bottom by taking offf the tail cap.

Rich:)

Another good looking host Rich.

Hope it find a good home. Best wishes with your sale(s) :)

That host is very nice, the metal end button cover also improves it quite a bit in my opinion. Sold!

Sorry for the double post,

but Alaskan if your thinking about a powerful green, I haven't seen or read a build with the new n520 yet. It might be worth taking a look at? Thought about trying it out myself in a build.

Thinking it might go real good with that beauty of a host you just bought off Lifetime?? :)

I know Alaskan has a 3 watt 532nm DPSS laser. I think he has an even more powerful one too. A 5 watt? He's no stranger to powerful green lasers.

Alaskan memained to me that he was thinking of using a "powerful green diode" in the host he just bought off Rich. Since I havn't seen or read of anyone using the new n520 in a build yet thought it was worth a mentain.
