Sale thread/ Hosts/Heat Sinks/Focus adapters/lasers

I would like to use that diode, but not sure yet. I have like 20 hosts now to put diodes in, when I see something nice, I buy it. Kinda crazy if I don't put diodes in them! I will, in time.

Best wishes, thought I'd just throw it out. I'm planning in the next couple of months to build one into a Lux-Pro host. I'll post a build thread and some compairsion shots with the 7475. Should be fun and interesting. :)

Alaskan memained to me that he was thinking of using a "powerful green diode" in the host he just bought off Rich. Since I havn't seen or read of anyone using the new n520 in a build yet thought it was worth a mentain.
Yeah, I asked the same on Andrews N450 thread..
I would like to see to just what its beam spec's are?

I still have one of your plug an play 501B hosts Rich with a decent AL sink just sitting..;)
Wanting a strong green in a pointer but just don't want to pull the trigger on a DPSS..
Way to cold out this way at times and I know that unstableness will drive me crazy.
My PLP520B1 does quite well with a 3 element as a sky pointer at 170mw..
Thinking the NDG700 or this N520 if I see anyone with some results:)

Hi GSS,
The NDG700 isn't bad at all i have three builds with them in it. As far as the N520 i don't have any ,but i think i built one for someone cant remember who ill have to look in my photos.

3 NDG700 builds? I can't say i'm ready yet but I might send you a email or PM at some point pretty soon..............:)

!1Hi GSS,
It took time to accumulate those three 520's they aren't cheap. Hey Rome wasn't built in a day. Well my buddy used to say God bless his soul ( They worked at night) LOL!

Rich:)

Dang. Wish I had another 501B host to put this 495nm diode into. Maybe a teal color, IDK. Don't need an extended heat sink as I'm just driving it at ~275 mA. I have a green one, but the paint has caused the threads to stick badly. Don't know why they allowed it to get all over the threads anyway. I had to file down the threads on the last one I got from you to get a good electrical connection. Put it together initially and.....Nothing. After I filed all the threads and the top of the part that the heat sink sat on...Success.

Hi Paul,
Let me see what i have in stock , I just shipped a green one out to Blarg K with a custom sink and adapter. The sinks i make look like this..
But in AL

I can't afford a very fancy host like that right now. I was hoping for something very inexpensive as in a plain 501B. I need to try to heat the one I have to see if I can get it apart. If so, I could do a build tomorrow with one of these 495nm diodes.

Hi Paul,
Well when i read your previous post i went to the lathe and made young with my kind of heat sink, not the type with the pill and spring deal cheesy. This is how i make my sinks for the 501B's. Oh this ones for you it will be in the mail tomorrow . This is a token of all the work with these diodes your doing for forum members, My gift to you buddy, oh it looks a lot better in person.

Rich:)
