Nice looking host, Rich. I like these larger size hosts for more powerful diodes. I have exhausted my budget for this month, but maybe next year I can try to get one of these.

No problem thank you for the reply. I try to do something different and these large hosts take some time to machine. Lots of boring out material to specs. These hosts are for the more power full diodes yes.

Hi Bm,
Thank you yes the polishing takes time and with many grades of paper and buffing. This one will hold up to the bigger power diodes and the fins will help a lot for cooling to. But you might want to use a regular ACE comb to comb your hair buddy.

Life, what are your thoughts about building a custom n465 with a potentiometer on it ? Got some dead presidents to invest.

That might have to be a 2X26650 host need room for the potentiometer and the drive would be sinked to the back of the main sink.
