Review: ARGLPM Ophir

yeah i could just add the data logging to my old LPM, but i perfer this because it all runs off 1x9v instead of killing 3 in my old meter. And thanks for the kind words about my build quality!

Can you close the cassette case? Data logger is too deep to use a cassette.

No I can't close it but it does work as a great stand. And its a 8mm video camera tape.

I had tried to fit the data logger in a cassette case first before realizing I could make it fit in the altoids box. Altoids works great for something without a display. Seriously thinking about doing the altoids box again (different flavor though:-)) if the ARGMeter will fit since I could open the box and see/access everything. Need to check measurements and look at connections more. Nice that you have a built in stand. Altoids box lid doesn't open enough to act as a stand. Stand would be nice with the display.
New pics with battery box and converter?
Get the heatsink yet? Looking forward to some pics:-)

no heatsink yet. it will be here today but they don't deliever till like 4-5pm and i don't get out of work till 10pm. so when i get home i'll have to give it a quick polish and then i'll get some pictures up.

I just received my unit this morning and it looks awesome. I was also just made aware of this thread and would like to offer my 3d printer up for coming up with a case for this thing. If anyone here knows cad and can draw it up in 3d we can print it out and see how well it works and I don't mind printing a few once we get the design down. I am not the greatest cad person, otherwise I would offer it up but I just thought I would throw this out there.

I can help out ;) Just got mine in today and was already thinking about what I could draw up. I use AutoCAD on my comp which outputs stl for a printer!

wish i was good at that stuff but i would love to upgrade my setup if someone comes up with something good.

I'll print anyone a case for their v1.1 at cost when I get my 3D printer running :)

Edit: The 3D printer has cleared customs! I hope they weren't to harsh with the import charges :p

Update Fixed it

I got the bottom section for the Uno so it can get screwed in an then you put the top part on it. I still have to finish the upper half but if someone wants to see if the screw pattern lines up ill send them a file ;) when I am all done I want to make the bottom at a 30 degree angle so you can view it.
