It sure is. I live in a suburban area (had to look up the difference between urban and suburban for an eBay survey tonight) and we had a red tailed hawk. It pranced around like it had no predators, including human. All birds stopped chirping, cats just stared and quietly chattered, squirrels, everything else out of sight. I read that they like very high places to nest. Being in the 'suburbs' we don't have high rises but we do have very high power grids. Saw a nest way up there.
I should post some pics of my laser related stuff that has accumulated. It's funny/sad how it gets out of hand over the years. Probably should do an updated view of all my units too.
Same setting but lights off and wobbly camera hands:

Here's a inside dark closet beam shot and dot of my 200mw 405nm:

465nm PLE PRO model @3500mw:
Looks a tad more purple in this than in reality

Same laser into the dark back yard into the rain:

And now for the green. My Jet Laser PLE PRO 1200mw 520nm beam shot outdoors at night:
Just love this wavelength at this power. It's much more impressive in reality. And there's this almost ethereal sheen to the beam, even in well lit rooms.

indoors afternoon beam visibility:

Outdoors at night with 10x beam expander that is not focused properly due to learning how at the time. Beam is much fuller than this when pre expanded beam is adjusted properly:

Both 465nm and 520nm side by side through the Tiki Torch flames at night. I currently only have one pair of 18650s.. so, I'm running the 465nm PLE PRO on nitecore 16340s. Seems a little undercurrent. Anyway:

Same lasers indoors, lights out:

More lasers on the way. I'm still waiting on an Arcane 2.0 from Sci Fi lasers. Also maybe a 473nm. I'd really love a 593nm but kinda pricey
I found some 4 x 4.5 foot wood squares made from 1 x 4, not sure what they were for but the homeowner said take all you want, the trash men are slow to get larger items.
Anyway laser art at 5 meters is not as easy as you might think, holding a steady hand as the laser takes longer than a brush of pencil to do it's work, so any jitter really shows, it's good practice for keeping a more steady hand.
Yes my art is not good, but it's therapeutic and I enjoy it.
The stronger the laser the faster you can draw.
The drawing is a maze, the square top left will be the start box.
RB, lol Thx for this pic What's the story behind this pic? Are you saying that the 1 in a million chance of a meteor hitting a car actually hit a Ford Meteor?:thinking:
