You KNOW my beam shots suck!
Just in case your'e serious ;)

1. Tripod is a must
2. timer is much better than instant-press (= camera shake)
3. It really helps to have a camera that lets you adjust EV (Exposure Value). That way, if the camera is exposing based on the wrong subject, you can compensate in one direction or another.

So.... I second the motion... for BEAM SHOTS!!! ;) :P ;D

I, for one, welcome our new Daguin overlord.

That laser is total and utter pwnage.  Looking forward to those beamshots!

Can you really tell the difference between 6x and 8x beams on film? There are so many exposure variables I wouldn't think you could tell the difference other than distance. :-?

I DON'T CARE ABOUT BEAMSHOTS (what the hell am I saying?)

I want SUBJECTIVE COMPARATIVE BEAM IMPRESSIONS!!

:o ... .512mW...... no words... :o

Who is still willing to buy a green for burning?

Some pictures Dave, please (following Traveller suggestions.....)

new egg has the drives at $199 free shipping
The way technology runs they will be $100 in a few months after the 12X come out. You know they have 32X + already. They are just milking the technology like they have been for decades. They are already talking Super HD, then Ultra HD is right around the corner. I read 8 years ago they had the technology to put 250 gigs on a 3 inch disk, so you could imagine what they have now.

Hey hey. First post that my spell checker didn't catch anything. This has never happened before :D

Damn, had to jinks it with that last line... >:(

I'm just trying to get my post count up ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Peace,
dave
