i didnt read the whole thread but im quite interested in the 500mW green laser. but when i read 300mW =161mW tested, i feel that i cant buy it anymore.
Didn't read the whole thread, or didn't read any of the thread?
a tip i would like to give u is: dont write on your website that the output is 300mW when u tested it urself and manage to get 161mW. that would be clearly a 150mW unit! not more not less. if you would keep REAL specs on your site ur reputation will grow so fast and u will earn so much more money.... doesnt matter if you sell less mW for more money as other sites since people know other sites lie about their specs and people then know - if they buy from you they get atleast the mW they buy but mostly even over spec.
Or, alternatively, you could go buy from Optotronics, Nova, or even Rayfoss or O-like. You DO get what you pay for.
that would be a huge magnet for real laser interested people.
i really dont understand why every chineese website lies about their specs... must be some cultural thing...
Not true. All the Chinese websites that don't specialise in lasers list their specs incorrectly. This is because they use the specs stated by the supplier and don't have enough reason to buy a power meter as lasers only make up a small quantity of what they sell, and then they'd have to get a flashlight power meter, a knife-sharpness meter and an everything-else-they-sell meter.
u will never see a laser underspec from a german company or other europeans.
thats the reason why the whole world dislike things from china. be one of the first who go for quality! others will follow since they will see that u steal all their customers with quality (atleast quality specs).
Personally, i love things from China. Stuff you never knew you needed is on these sites and they're just a click away at a fraction of what they'd cost were you to buy them in the real world (using that silly obselete concept called "coins") and with free shipping. As long as you don't mind waiting a while, you're all set.
Would anyone else call that part bordering on racism?
if somebody think about to buy such an expensive laser - they want quality. they dont care about quantity. this will always be the case. a laser buyer will never care about lied specs never. the exact opposit will happen to a company that lies about specs - the word will spread and the company will get a bad reputation and not sell near as much as they could.
Untrue. The majority of buyers of lasers from PA are going to be unenlightened, not interested in this comparison game that we all play and are just looking for something to dick around with, shine into the sky, hit clouds with, maybe use to light some matches and impress their friends with. Specs are irrelevant for such people, as long as it's brighter than their 5mW red and can light a match.
take that advice, and u will be a happy man at the end of the day.
And you take this advice: Read around the forum before posting, read the thread before posting, master the art of typing your words out properly before posting and then finally, THINK before posting. And you too can be a happy man at the end of the day.
