Another good find, if you have a laser diode which would produce a spot of about 80% the diameter of this lens, or even close to the edge if you don't need perfection, these PCX plano-convex 20mm diameter lenses are cheap, especially considering they are broadband AR coated:

World work well for a collimator if the focal length is right for the size of the spot your diode produces at 20mm away from the lens to produce a fat beam with low divergence. If your diode produces a 10mm wide spot on a wall at 20mm you would use only half it's diameter, but still have a fair amount of beam expansion compared to our 6mm G2 lenses and such which produce about a 4mm diameter beam with many of our laser diodes.

Yeah, he's not coming off the 2012 new price by much at all. It's almost like he thinks these are new units. At close to $10,000.00 each, I don't know how much less he would be willing to take.

I would confirm they are genuine as the picture shows a sticker they have not used since 2013. The AW is one of the more faked batteries out there. I always highly suggest not buying Li-ions on eBay or Amazon. AW does give a list of Authorized dealers over on CPF.

And no controller/power supply either so that'll bump up your costs too.

Yeah ... even if I had $10,000 to drop I'd avoid this. Fair enough not offering a warranty I guess but for $10,000 I'd at least like the option to return the item.

I hope they are NOS but I will charge and load test them, I have done well with EFest, BASEN, Panasonic, LG, and Sony from ebay but this is a different seller. 99.6% but I do see 2 battery complaints. I am wanting to do some small 520 builds, and maybe a 501 size NDG7475 for short duty cycles. They may be ok even if not authentic, I will see. Thanks.

Just got these today and they seem pretty strong, I don't know what they should be but 3.7 amps at 3.7 volts into 1 ohm is not bad.

They arrived in a thick clear plastic shrink wrap.
They tested 3.8, 3.8, 3.81, 3.78 out of the mailbox.

After charging to 4.17 they drop to 3.7v at 3.7a into a 1 ohm load and 3.6 + after 15 seconds under load, that's not bad I don't think for a 12a rated 700mAh cell, but should it have held higher?

My 26650's hold over 4v but my Panasonic 18650B's drop to 3.7 from a full charge under load. So these put out as well as a Panasonic 18650B at least for a while although obviously not as long, should a 12a rated IMR 18350 hold higher under a 1 ohm load from a full charge? I have not bought any IMR 18350's before just 26650's rated 20, 40, and 50 amps continuous discharge and 4200 - 5500 mAh.
Actually I have some pink Imren IMR 26650's that don't hold up any better, I won't buy any more of these pink cells, they are not awful and they do carry my 44's and 08 but they are not as good as my Basen cells.

These are used caps , though I couldn't find from what year. If they turn out to be all good, it is an okay deal, but not exceptional. Turns out to be $22.00/ cap. The asking price seems high, though.

Can't find this exact model online but going off similar models, average power output is likely under 50mW of 532nm, with passive Q-switching giving pulse widths of ~7ns and a rep rate of a couple kHz. That puts peak power in the kW range.

I've owned a similar model that also did the 3rd harmonic at 355nm, and getting the other wavelengths was a simple as opening up the head and pulling out a filter of some sort. There may even be a way to do it without opening up the cavity though.

you mean mJ. pulses are measured in energy, not power. and if you're getting ~7ns pulses, then yes it'd be quite powerful per-pulse, but overall the power output in watts would be far less. (but still quite respectable) could probably calculate it, but i'm too lazy atm. :tinfoil:

Yes, those laser export heads I've seen before. they're really very nice, and many have a set of filters on the end to select the WL you want. others you can dig into to do that. just depends on the make

Nah I did mean time averaged output power, like total energy emitted over a second, and for the modules above they likely run 5~50mW for their averaged output power. Even Laser Export gives these average power values for their pulsed lasers. For a 25mW average power pulsed laser firing at 1kHz, that gives 0.025mJ per pulse.

I wish I knew more about DPSS lasers when I had my 355nm LE unit because I could have enjoyed it a lot more! The 355nm beam was completely invisible, but it was hard to find a surface that didn't fluoresce under that UV light. I think I was broke at the time and was forced to sell it within a month of getting it.

Ah ok, I wasn't sure based on how it was worded. I was a little confused as I have had one of those hats before and they don't generally do more than a few milliwatts those 3xxnm lasers are great and definitely very hard to notice. They create a nice little spot in the wall all the same though. I can see them as a faint white/blue spot on the wall.
