Yea the diodes tested the same as the NDG7475 so you can get them cheaper but you still have the ball lens can thing you have to remove leaving the diode susceptible to degradation and contaminants. This ball lens thing is a real pain in the rear. I think these ball lenses are more effective at deterring us from using their diodes than trying to make it hard to extract them by having them soldered into the mount.

dam.. The only reason I would be interested in it is because I have never had the pleasure in extracting diodes like this... or that many high powered diodes in one sitting hahahahah.. I guess I will pass on it and continue buying the diodes from you lol

I'm at the point where if I buy another large thing that I will no longer be able to walk through my apartment. :p I dream of the day when I can build my own house...or at least build a "science shed" for all of my crazy stuff...

Indeed - I use a VFD to drive a three phase hydraulic pump from a single phase supply. Can chose the output voltage/frequency you want, it soft starts and has overcurrent protection - VFDs are clever bits of kit!

Many VFDs are three-phase to three-phase though, got to be careful to pick one up that has single-phase input.

So I got it for $0.99:eg: (with shipping at $20), so really it was $20.99.

Here's the extracted diode: 520nm Laser Diode 9mm Size with Ball Lens Mount Extracted from NUGM01T Array | eBay

And a 465nm one: 465nm Laser Diode 9mm Size with Ball Lens Mount Extracted from NUBM507T Array | eBay

I'm assuming the latter is the one rhd used in his photino.

I want that 532nm high pulsed laser but price is too high, already owe on other laser stuff I still need to pay for, too bad :(
