Does this mean you want the contact board installed for you? That costs $2.00 for each host. I will put you down for the contact boards installed because you said you want it to plug and burn. If you don't want this option, let me know and I will change it. I am the only one who can change the spreadsheet, so I will have to do that, but you can go there and see it with the link in the OP. Sounds good, I'm not sure I need 2-3 hosts right now but will keep an eye on this and maybe get in before it closes, specially if the copper clear coat is available/cheap.

I just did a quick measurement of my Kryton Groove, 25mm diameter and 152mm long without focus adapter and 158mm with.
So this new host should be wider and shorter.

I'm considering getting some.

Are all the switch parts included in the price? How wide are the decorative fins on the head.

Mattronium, yes all the switch parts are included and the contact board as well. The host head doesn't have fins in it. It does have 4 groves cut into the heat sink and is a solid piece of copper with the 12mm opening for a module. There are other options that can be had for a little more money. You can find all this among the post in this thread and in the OP.

The fins on the head are just grooves. They are for decoration. about 1mm wide.

I have these grooves on my Arcane 2.0 host. They look very nice with that dimensions.

Again , if you have suggestions let me know. We can add / change the host a bit if everyone agree.

Hi Everyone ,

Paul asked me about inserting the whole Aixiz module to the heatsink.

After some checks , We will add 15mm extra to the host length. So total length would be around 135mm total instead of 120mm.

Same price :beer:

This means that there is enough room in the heat sink to put a full length AixiZ type module in and still have room for the contact board. This will not only increase the length of the host to 135mm, but it will also increase the amount of heat that can be pulled out of the module, making the duty cycle even longer than it was before this change.

How much room in the "pill" is there for a driver? Or does it need to be soldered to the diode?

1 as a white matte, another black matte, and a third with the copper upgrade and mirror polished :)
