Obi wan kenobi blu-ray 8x lasersaber! (ADDED VIDEO)

My lastest build , An LG bh08 8x diode flex drive set @ 320mA , aixiz 405 glass lense , finned heat sink ,3XAAA, for the host its a Master Replicas Obi Wan Kenobi blue bladed saber that I got bored with it so I decided to turn it into a laser and it still has the sound effects like the blade idling , blade strike etc.. Nice! I tried this with a 6x and a light saber from the jungle (Wal Mart), it wasn't impressive at all. Yours is! Those light sabers can get expensive real quick. Great job:gj:

Would be great if you could get a beam expander in there, but they are way too expensive to be worth adding.

That looks sweet man, good work!! as others have said, a beam expander would make it look even better, more like a light saber, but looks awsome as it is IMO...

Your right 473nm would be the right wavelength, but I wasn't going to go all out, plus it wouldn't burn! Whats the point of a laser-saber that can't burn anything maybe just the visual effect, but I love burning things!!! 'evil laugh'

Ok so here's what you do
Take a piece of polycarbonate tube and put a ball bearing in the center. Then cap each end with a lens (one side with a magnet) and make it so that the blade can be popped on and off. This will give you the lasersaber effect and can be removed when you want. Or, you can buy mine and tear it apart and slap it onto yours.

Nice build, but you should have used one of the ForceFX sabers. They are a second edition so to speak, and are worth less. The Master Replicas are no longer made and are somewhat valuable....
