My Rainbow -- Post Pic's of Yours

Nice rainbow, Smeerworst. That 635 you got from rhd almost looks as bright as your 447 in the middle.
How many mW is the 635 red?

Hi,

500mW according to rhd's lpm graphic test.
I also recorded 500mW with my lpm.

Shocking isn't it.

Cheers

I have a sparten blue. But when did you get the beamexpander. I've been waiting a long time for them to get em in stock. Theyha ent been in stock for almost twoyears accourding to Frack, the face book page administrater for dragon lasers
This is the old version of the beam expander that i buyed from a forum member here.

Cheers.

I had a really crappy shot here, but it felt out of place with the others. I hope to take a nice one and upload it shortly.

So many beautiful shots in this thread!

Here's an incomplete one. I guess you could say it is my "Continuous Duty Rainbow" as my Rigel and Rifle are not included/turned on.

and a complete collection in video:

This is my favorite shot of my lasers shooting across my basement. Too bad the 405 didn't come out too well...

That's likely one of the most creative things I have ever seen with lasers and fiber optics, amazing effect.

Thank you. :D It's my wallpaper, and my home screen has the same effect but 593.5nm only going through it. I was surprised how well the iPhone 4 camera cooperated with me in the awkward lighting situation.

since i'm getting a new hene soon, and i like the beams sooo much here's some pix of a few in my collection. i promise fuller spectrum pix once i get the new guy.

My collection. The HeNe is one I picked up at American Science and Surplus back in 1988! Still works like a champ. Back then I was in high school and did music driven X-Y laser shows in my parent's basement. Good times. The weak 532 I bought from Intelite back in 1998-9-ish for $250 I think. The other 532 is the classic WL CORE. The others I built into popular hosts. I love the cheapy build 635nm! That is the brightest red I've ever seen. The 445nm is newly completed and it's intimidating to see such a powerful laser in person for the first time. Of course, I have goggles and use them.

I turned off the 445 to let the 405 shine on:

I'm getting closer to that rainbow!

Left to right...
Arctic (Low), O-Like 50mW 532nm, 650nm LCZB 200mW

Your pictures made me squint my eyes when I saw this! Its funny how I sometimes get that reaction to laser photos.

Also have to post mine here :)

Damn, this pic is really good. :D
The Yellow (589?) and the 473 blue make it complete.

Unlike my partial one (I took this at the Nor Cal LEM this year:
