What's the most powerful portable laser you've ever seen personally?
My 1.1W 445nm from Survival Laser is the strongest I've seen personally. Lasers aren't very common around here

my RL-2088 is the biggest handheld ive seen and at 2.3W its the most powerful ive seen!
since you failed to put your location in your profile we have no idea where 'here' is-- it is required if you are sincere about getting help...
Most powerful ive seen with my own eyes was 40W of 10600nm/IR which is really not SEEING but you get the idea.
Ive also seen 1.5W of 532nm/green. What a sight
I have a 4W 960nm c-mount based handheld IR burner that I made a few years back. I also have a 3W 808nm handheld burner, but I am changing the driver in it. Both of these run on 25500 (c size) lithium cells.
Hemlock_Mike built an 18W CO2 that was made like a rifle and powered by 18650's originally, but rebuilt to use larger (25650) batteries later
It used eight batteries
I can't find the thread anymore
Peace,
dave
**EDIT** -- Here's a picture of it from his album
