Welcome to the club Jake ;) yes these golden lasers are something else, I have a CNI 589 peaking at 125mW out and I love it's beautiful golden color, here's a shot with it and a couple other colors. I took this shot up on the mountain top in the snow and a cloud had just enveloped us so it did some pretty cool stuff to the picture. I like this picture so much I named it, it's called "Outward Bound"

That is a amazing image Jeff;)!! Phase change ala light!

Holy shit, how much did 80mW of 594 cost you? I know that 30mW of 589 costs about the same as 5mW of 594, and that's HOLY SHIT EXPENSIVE.

Jake you may want to try some regular alkaline batteries as they're 1.5v when full vs. 1.2-1.3v. With my pens from IQS I got a boost of a few mw on the 405 and abot 10 on the 532 but decided on rechargeables for the convenience factor. Oh I'm not sure if 593.5 is pulsed like 589 is but you can easily tell buy moving it rapidly and see if the dot makes a solid line or if it's dashed. It looks kinda cool if you swirl it around and make designs on the wall.

I think he has a 589nm 80 mW, but the label was as shown... I believe it was an error at CNI to print the 594 on there as you never see 594 portable over 45mW. -Glenn

I agree with Glenn, even his sig says 125mW 589

There is a video of a "150mW 593.5" on YouTube.. Not sure if it's really 150mW tho.

So tell me somebody, does CNI really have dead on 594nm lasers and laserglow has dead on 593.5nm lasers, or are they both the same?

And ltkernel, my Rigel is CW, and also, 2 of my eneloops measured at 1.48V fully charged and the other two would only charge to ~1.25V

CNI has 593.5nm only, for convenience, it's rounded to 594... whole number.. =GH

The actual center wavelength is 593.14 nm, last time we checked.

Awesome^^^
hey Justin, just wanted to say that I didn't get the pleasure of dealing with you guys directly, but my laserglow Rigel 2 is phenomenal, and a work of art.
