Laser nightmares

Once I had a dream, I was inside my green DPSS laser, and I saw SMD chips wit a lot of pins... when I woke up I was like... WTF?

I dream allot when i'm in sleepmode but today i had a incredible dream about Felipe, Prince of Asturias with his wife and daughter sitting in the back of the car. And I was actually in the front of the car and next to me was black driver. That is verry strange because this is the first time they where in my dreams. I had allot of dreams before ... I remember when I as a kid I had a dream that I got a Metrologic HeNe for Christmas,, the nightmare was when I woke up. I had another dream that I burned down a neighbor's house with a C02 laser and was in jail for arson. So yes i have had laser dreams. only two that I remember.

Well I have never had a bad dream about getting caught with my lasers. Probably because I don't do anything wrong with them. I do how ever worry very much about getting blamed for doing something I didn't do.

Their is a municipal airport in my city. I'm far enough away that I should have no problem with using lasers. When I do point my lasers in the night sky. I always point it in the opposite direction, even if I detect no air traffic. My main concern is that some evening I may have a over paranoid pilot. That he might see my beam in the distance and just deiced to be a A@#, and call it in anyway. I'm in a corner house that just happens to be the first house in a residential neighborhood, not to hard to pick out.

With all the bad press lasers have received lately. I don't think it would take much for some pilot to just go a head and burn someone. Who do you think the cops are going to believe

Remember 9/11/, you had people turning in their neighbors just because they were of middle eastern decent.

Re-read my earlier post:

By US law any pilot that spots a skyward laser has to report it. No matter how far away it was from his plane. Finding you is a different matter. Unless you stand out there for 30 minutes to a hour, there is almost no chance of finding out where (or who) you are. I always limit my sky pointing to 5 minutes, tops. Just in case!

out here where I live its a good thirty minute drive to town, however there is an airport 3 hills over and the sky over my house is where they circle around waiting for landing clearance..

So I just never point straight up.

I have had lasers for about ten years, longer w/ HeNe's and used green beams in the night sky, (carefully, for ten years too), and I live under the LAX landing pattern, so about a plane a minute goes by. I find if you do not point within a quarter of the sky from where there is a plane, (never w/ helicopters), with <90mW or in any direction with higher unless well overcast, you never attract any attention. BTW no "bad" laser dreams... -Glenn

The best protection from such dreams is: put on a good pair of laser goggles before sleeping. Notice: Consider that you sit up the right ones; it is senseless to take blue glasses when you are dreaming about 532nm lasers.

what the fuck? here i know how to fix ur problem. Go to a club. Find a girl. Fuck that girl with her permission. i garentee you that you wont dream bout lasers ANY more but something more interesting

OR you could play with thing if u you can control your dreams like be concious while your dreaming

so as i was saying if you can control this it would be really fun O_O like for example you could dream about having all the lasers combined into 1 giant beam and shoot it at a mountain or somethin. lol

I have never had a dream about lasers but my dad has. This us really wierd considering he doesn't know much about lasers. Some friend told him to move a laser. My dad said it was a ultra violet and it was a tunnel and was nitrogen cooled. The laser knocked over and took the skin off my dads arm and chest. I said what the heck I don't even have dreams of lasers and dang that's one bad A laser.

LOl yday I saw a laser nightmare. My rayfoss replacement started to shoot red light acting as if it was dieing.. I was scared a lot it was so real lol.

All my dreams seem to result in falling off a glass building and waking up really quickly. Haven't had one of those in a while now though.

I do remember having a dream about lasers once though. One of those dreams where you own everything, then wake up and go "Aww shit" when you realize you just lost everything

Ye, it's so lame.. Long ago, back when I still played Pokemon on the gameboy, I remember I saw a dream where I owned a real Pokemon then woke up and was sadface
