Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

Haha.. iKenometer, iLPM.. Nah, no app for that.

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

I use Apple computers since 1996 and fortunately the style of "i-apps" is just a recent thing, in fact the 99% of applications don't use this kind of name ;)

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

Oh I know. I've been using MAC products since the early 80's. I don't prefer them. besides, 99% of mac users at one point and time or another come to a point where they have to install windows in a virtual environment for some program or another so, why worry about it?

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

Here is a video of the meter in action.

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

hahah isn't that the point????

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

Kenom directs slipstreams attention to post #5 in this thread. As to how soon they will be available. Who knows. I'd like to see them finished and ready to be assembled by 3-4 weeks out.

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

How did i miss that .. woops..

One thing if i could suggest if you dont already have it would be a small thin hard cover for the thermal head to protect the detector.

Re: Kenometer Pro and USB screenshots

Great job on the LPM guys!

The code seems silky smooth, with a very nice refresh rate, in the video. The bar graph display style really comes to life in real-time.

Like HIMNL9 I was a going to suggest a line graph, based on the first image, but seeing it in operation I can see why you guys stayed with the bar style.

Really top notch stuff, can't wait to see what your finished product looks like.

Big thumbs up from me.

I see you took my advice to use a textured enclosure...
That enclosure looks a lot nicer... (same texture as the Deluxe LaserBee I
enclosure)... No chance of stray reflections off a shiny enclosure surface.

If you don't mind... I'll make another suggestion...

If you are going with a membrane switch pad... then I highly
suggest you use the clicky type swiches and not the
resitive type... (talking from past experience)...

the membrane switches I'll be getting will be TACTILE clicky's. You'll hear them click with every activation cause they have a metal dome on the top of each.
