It is Here.!!!!! 300mW "635nm" Mitsubishi.....

Man that diode is not the same output as the one DTR tested...

I was thinking it should be that output at about 750mA's from his numbers.

I'm going to find out soon with my next set up at 750mA's...

looking at this graph, its above cause of the 650-G-1

750mA should only yeild ~400mW with Aixiz glass...

fruit!

wish mine was 1:1

mines doing: 770mW @ 1050mA (1mW / 1.36mA)
The ratio is close to: 300mW @ 450mA's (1mW / 1.33mA)

holy crap, yeah sounds like a freak or mine is inefficient!
still 770mW is a shit load for red, cant wait till tonight to see the beam at that power!

Yes for sure you have a lot of red/orange there!

More than I've seen...

I do have two more of those diodes though. Maybe one of them is a freak! :)

hehe i hope yours are freaks!

just beamed mine outside and you know it is bullshit bright when you can see the red beam and its still in the afternoon!

Hello

First : excuse my bad english.

For the “slope efficiency” you must take off the “threshold current” from the current.

Then the power divided by the result.

“threshold current” is the current short before the LD begins to produce laser light.

e.g.: 770mW: (1050mA - 150mA) = 0,86mW/mA
300mW: (450mA - 150mA) = 1,00mW/mA

then you can compare these values directly
