Hello everyone!

I've just got bitten by the 'laser pointer' parasite and I really want to get a really powerful handheld laser. So I searched on Google for the world's most powerful laser pointer and I found this one for $299 :

My question is if this really is the world's most powerful laser or do it exist even more powerful lasers? If yes, where can I buy them?

:thanks:

IMHO it needs to be self contained to be a real handheld. Portability is not an option.

most flashlamp pumped q-switched yags will get in the kilowatt range. when you start applying restrictions it starts getting silly.

Generally handhelds mean the battery is in the same enclosure as the device, so an external backpack battery would count as portable, but not handheld.
