I'm really surprised, I thought yellow pointers didn't even exist, and that the only yellows were RPL styles at low powers, like 1mW~, now this guy appears with a 10mW yellow pen LOL

it's a pulsed unit i believe but still a must have in my book
I didn't even know I had a book lol

I tried doing extended exposure shots to test for pulsing, but it was constant the whole time.

Those beam shots are incredibly cool, i really need a DPSS yellow.....

These are my favorite lasers too. Unfortunately I broke mine while trying to mount it into a keychain host... the driver fell off of the diode. Apparently, mine is at least the second one that this has happened to.

It's with one of our gurus now, but I haven't heard anything back in awhile. I need to buy another one.

Oh, and btw, mine was brighter than a 5mw LG Lyra, so it was pretty stout too. The trick was Energizer Lithiums.

I actually had been using the regular energizers in all the photos, just picked up some lithiums last night. :D

Damn, i want one!. Btw what the fcuk is wrong with this Coke can, it doesnt look genuine.

It's from packs we get at my office... they come in a 32 pack, 4 sets of 8. Weird, I know. We get it direct from Cocacola though, so it's legit.

Be careful what you say around them.

Poor Pepsi can...

But seriously - why is there such a range in prices for what all appear to be the same unit? Are the tested to different specifications? I can't tell any difference just by looking at the sites

The huge variance in prices is simply markup. They are tested to meet their stated spec; so basically, you're paying a premium to ensure that the laser you're getting is "preforming to spec".TBH, they're all rebranded/renamed CNI pens. In my opinion, the CNI GB is a much better value; if your laser is underpowered, you can simply send it back and they'll replace it.

Nice sexy laser. Once I get my blue, that color will be next on my list of pre-builts.
