Yellows have been pretty much the same price for years, I haven't noticed much of a price change for the past three years! It would be awesome if the price dropped though.

If I were to get a low powered yellow I would want it in a portable, they are a lot less stable then a HeNe but I would like something I can point around at that power. I guess if you want a cheaper yellow or just like gas lasers then HeNe is the way to go.
