Surly...our age group (60+) is likely 3 sigma from the average on our curve.....so then....we have even more responsibility to be a good role model to the younger members !! Well....mmm...it is a good goal anyway... hahaha !!

I was 16 when I joined and was very arrogant and extremely ignorant (still am.. Haha )

I'm still not sure what it is about lasers, but together with this community, my fascination has remained. Down here in NSW, winter is the best time of the year since all the fog rolls in and that's when the lasers come out

Seeing all the senior members who are extremely active are amazing role models for the younger generation here. I only hope that I can be as good a role model as them when I grow up

Gun where have you been? You were gone a whole year and came back and posted in one thread and have been gone since for almost 10 months. Stay around awhile unless you're loosing interest in lasers (a rare thing to happen). Welcome back.

It is a wonderful thing that so many of us of different ages and from so many countries around the world can share a common interest (wasn't possible before the Internet). I can imagine if we could know each other in person some of us would have some differences and maybe not like each other, but here we all have something in common.
