How do you spend your weekends?

Just curious about how you folks spend your weekends .

Cos mine are friggin BORING!!

I spend them something like this
Defrag my hard drives.
Play around in msconfig and regedit to shave a few seconds off my boot time and then download porn
Have a few beer at night and then play with my lasers.
The lead wire fell off , back to home to solder it back on.
Play with lasers some more.

I mean.. the lasers part is cool but then there the whole morning and afternoon to wait through...

Sleep and then cornflakes for breakfast

I used to have time for other hobbies , but lasers are SERIOUSLY munching on my wallet and I haven't been able to afford any other non-essential spending since :p

Usually boredom. Though I turn up on occasion.

Tonight will probably be an all nighter aligning that 1W labby that I finally have all the parts for. Then cramming some research from the FAQ and my books, come Sunday the epoxy on this SSW will be ready, so that'll get built. I have an RGB pen set to build for LazerBeak. After that, I'm out of lasers to build :(

So then it'll be medial tests on my HeNes, a couple hours for argon running, and perhaps more boredom.

ALTHOUGH! A buddy of mine just got back from a deployment, so we might go do something. Who knows, but it's normally bad when the whole gang gets together...

And a rigorous fapping schedule.

Ok seriously. You can try lighting matches from a big distance, using 445s. It is fun.

or fog the entire house.
 
If the racetracks are closed I dump out a box of spare parts and get to tinkering, see what I can make out of my spare junk :)
When the tracks are open my buddies and I go out and see who's faster this week ;)

The red 1G Talon usually runs 10 seconds, the white 1G probe runs low 12's normally, the occasional high 11

Sleeping in is a passion ,then again waking up early and giving the wife a hint of what would be nice,gardening, chores oh and did i mention i like lasers, there's something about lasers and GF or wife's that don't mix, she loves her Twitter i like, lasers, militaria uniforms and medals war movies but i don't whine that she's on Twitter for 3 hours straight or complain about me supporting the match manufacturing ppl as someone said above lighting match's from a long way off with a 445 is fun takes time to get it right but it just does it for us ,a magnifying glass would do the same but not nearly as cool
 
If I was living in Hong Kong I will go to the Dim Sum restaurants every day. I love the foods.
And eating lychees, mango's, dragon fruits and other exotic fruits. I don't have that in Belgium. :(
 
I have a lot of hobbies... I am a licensed pilot, cavern diver, amateur musician, motorcycle enthusiast, hiker/climber, birder, gamer, and a seasoned photographer. I also have a wife who gets some of that time. I work full time as a professional networker, but also run a home based business in my spare time (which I actually started by happenstance) helping people establish an extra income stream, so the weekends provide time for that as well. As far as the hobbies go, I am new to birding, so that has been a neat learning experience. I don't game as much as I used to, but once a gamer, always a gamer. I like to eat. Houston is a great foodie town, so there is always awesome feasting to be had. I read more than I did as a kid. I write a bit... have been published a few times (once for writing and I think 4 or 5 times for my photography work). Then of course, there are lasers. I am falling in love with learning about the ins and outs of them... how to build them, etc. All of these things make up a big chunk of every weekend.

You have to get out and live... you're either ripening or rotting. There really isn't any in-between. :)

Hurricane season and a lack of ....well... Anything makes summer a boring season

You must be running some serious mods to get it in the 10 second range!
 
I go fishing and hiking. I work. I grab the occasional alcoholic beverage. Oh and lasers :)

Haha indeed. External wastegate, 20g turbo on 30 psi, tial bov, fmic, wideband, speed density, 75 shot nitrous, CO2 spray rail on intercooler, 272 cams, 3g lifters... etc. :eg:
 
I forgot to mention finding more ways to spend money on multiline lasers.
