Just to see if we can get this right I don't have precision tools to measure but I can tell you measuring the bottom of the inside of the module to the top on both a standard Aixiz and these it appears to be the exact height of a focus ring. Can anyone measure one to see what it's height is?

Yeah, that sounds like it should be a pretty easy fix.

The Chinese are on a holiday till tomorow so ill be in touch with the manufacturer, hopefully no delay but I wouldn't be surprised if there was a 1-2 day delay..... I feel so bad I'm very sorry to all for the delay.....

If it helps, my copper modules (70+23pcs) do not need to be shortened.
I use it without focus adapter for my Labby-builds.

Well yours are going to be shorter as I am processing yours and the modules haven't been shipped yet. I hope that is ok with you if not let me know

Well DTR's got some on him now, but there's no 5.6mm copper yet. the ones after this will be shorter

The focus adapter is 4.5mm and the total lengh right now is 15mm so it will bring it down to identical Aixiz size :beer:

Aixiz modules are 11mm long, shouldn't that mean cutting 4mm then?

Ok guys I wanted to test the 9mm ones before I threw this out there. I just did and the 9mm works the exact same with the mod to the Aixiz.

Ok so we are looking to get the number of modules that we are going to take a loss on down a bit. I am thinking there are a few of you out there that are going to just be using the Aixiz lens or be using a single element in a fixed focus like in a labby with these modules.

Can anybody that is willing to take their 9mm or 3.8mm modules PM me now. If needed I sell Aixiz lenses and would be willing to add the focus adapters free of charge in the modified way with the purchase of a lens if you take some of these modules.


Anthony worked hard on this and I hope we can get out of this without any major losses. So if anybody is in the position of taking some now please let me know and I will make a list.:beer:

I already cut one down with my dremmel. Then I sanded the top. It was a pain in the ass. And I burnt myself again.:yabbem:
