It's also hollow.... So maybe it's doable, I'm not completely sure but I think it's worth a shot.

I already cut one down with my dremmel. Then I sanded the top. It was a pain in the ass.:yabbem:

Oh and just to let everyone know the longer ones would be great in a pen build I think. They would act as a mini heatsink for a fixed focus :beer:

I just added the PL450 in module with leads and three element lens and a option with a microboost to my shop. Look at how sweet these look. It is all about the presentation.:eg:

As someone who has bolluxed up a copper module or two, shaving them down won't be easy. You'll need to re-tap them for sure, and shaving that much off without an industrial machine will be rough at best.

I'd love to keep the extra 4mm, but I really run the G lenses in most of my builds, especially any that would need a copper module.

I wish there was an easy way to use these with the G-1/G-2 lenses.

Wonder if there is any way to come up with a focus adapter that attaches to the current G type lenses?

i'd like to have my modules made to the aixiz size, if i can. i'm to receive 3 of each size. i like to use a spring to firm up the focus. not sure if this would work with the modules as they are.

edit: looked at the issue the wrong way as far as springs go - duh...

I can help you with some stiffer springs if that is all you are concerned with.

They are good. Yes a little tighter than the Aixiz but not as tight as the copper ones that went around a few months ago with is good.

Yours have not been shipped yet as you are not in the US so there should not be any problems as long as they can rework them quickly.:beer:

DTR is selling as many as he can and we are going to reorder the 9mm and 3.8mm ones

I think that I need the std sizes as well, but I would be willing to also buy some of the long versions as well. That way I could help cut your losses AND I could use the long ones on low power builds where an acrylic lens would be ok.
