Re: GB: 2$ copper modules ALL SIZES
If offered the choice I would prefer that the back of the module not have threading. Why remove mass and reduce thermal transfer area?
It's only for a few members I would buy both and those who want it will get it. If you don't want it you won't get that you'll the normal one your expecting
And I'll only be able to get the the threads if I get the dimensions by tonight
EDIT:I apologize to the members wanting back threads but I'm telling you guys now I cant seem to find consistent enough numbers when looking for the thread size on the back since its not confirmed ( I don't have appropriate measuring tools for this either)
I don't want to add a part to these and I'm not sure about. I'd like these to be problem free so for that reason it doesn't look like the threads will be on the back
you will simply need a press tool or a block of wood or steel with a hole drilled to te diode diameter to press it in.
If I make a round 2 at some point I will look at making press fit backs included if there is enough interest as it would only bring the price up ~1$ or so.
So to keep these at the price and to make sure there are no problems they will have to stay as planned originally. I did try looking for the threading sizes but I can't trust them as they make no sense.....
And so every module will be smooth on the outside and it will have great thermal contact. All copper modules are polished
Edit again: RyanElectro did you get my pm this time
I want to make sure youre getting them
