Assuming a fully charged cell with a load @ 3.9V minus 1.5V IC overhead, theoretically it can power a 2.4V load @ 1.8A.

sorry for the delay. car trouble made money tight but i still managed to send you the paypal. is it too early for order for the april batch... my buddy bwhollen keeps buying all ur drivers. that guy must be getting lots of customers for his 445 hotlights.

Im going to try and build up an inventory to release sometime in April ... but I have a feeling bhwollen will buy those up too :crackup:

hey jib, quick question? is the negative continuous for the v- and ld- ? also, whats the voltage requirement of the regulator?

hey jib, quick question? is the negative continuous for the v- and ld- ? also, whats the voltage requirement of the regulator?

Negative is continuous. You need at least 1.25V + Diode Vf. Don't push it much past 9V or you may blow the caps.

Sorry for double post, but quick question, I just got another diode, and want to try out my new jib drives. can I run the drivers battery negative to the case pin of my diode, since I have no easy way for a negative connection.

ld positive to driver positive, ld negative to driver ld negative, battery positive to positive contact, and battery negative to driver case pin>?
