FS: 18650 Build Kit! Easy Assembly! 445nm, Blu-ray, or Red...

These are great and I ordered two, but I'll gather $ and be back for more! Thanks Jay! -Glenn

Got your covered Glenn, thanks!

I only wish I had them on hand... My order has shipped about 5 days ago, so I expect them any day now.

Normally I would have your order shipped in a day or two max. But I'm backed up waiting on my DX order.

I ordered extra though. Because of this new 445 diode. I have a total of 10 hosts coming on this first order, but 8 of them are already spoken for.

So I have two more orders of 10 each ordered. For a total of 30. So hopefully they will get them shipped!

Those of you waiting, please be assured that I will take good care of you as soon as I get my stock...

Update:

Got my first order of 10 hosts today and will begin shipping out outstanding orders tomorrow...

So far, I have 3 of these first 10 that are still available...

18650 kits shipping today: (Tuesday)

ossumguywill (basic kit with copper heatsink and other item)
jbtm ('Hot' option mounted inside pill and set at 650mA's, slightly longer copper heatsink, 405-G-1)

Hope you guys like them!

LOL, you said you would ship on thursday or friday, but of course you end up shipping on tuesday :D
+rep, thanks for the great service!

No, because the person I'm shipping to is also getting other items that I'm waiting on... Should be shipping in a few days though...

Yeah... I have 3 or 4 orders in front of you, but then I realized that a couple of them are waiting on other parts/hosts, etc...

So you got 'bumped up'...

Hope you like it!

well, thanks a ton! It's especially helpful because next week will be really hectic for me, I want to get as much work out of the way as I can.

Hope your build goes well...

18650 kits shipped today: (Wednesday)

jooopy (with copper heatsink a little longer, drill out the pill, EzFocus adapter, 405-G-1)

wicked1 (Micro Boost 'Hot' option set at 900mA's, copper heatsink a little longer, drill out the pill and mount the driver inside)

Hope you guys like them!

Mine came today... it works GREAT!
A couple questions though, guys...
first, how did you make positive contact with the battery? I simply yanked all the parts off the SMD board and found where there was no resistance to Vcc, and soldered a wire there. To make negative contact I still use the driver circuit board and pressure from the battery holds a glob of solder against the side of the light. I'm not sure how I was supposed to do it...
second, do I turn the pot on a microboost clockwise or counterclockwise to increase current? Thanks!

Hmmm... sounds like you maybe should have got the 'Hot' option! :)

The path to the host (negative) is through the brass ring, which is in contact with the pill. (bare metal threads to the host)

Couple of things about the Micro BoostDrive...

* Like a FlexDrive, do not power the driver without a load
* It is a single turn pot that can be damaged if turned too far in either direction. Yes, clockwise is turning it up within the range it is set for...

electron, just to let you know that I sent your 18650 'Hot' option kit with slightly longer copper heatsink and Micro BoostDrive mounted inside the pill, and other item today: (Thursday)

Set at 800mA's per your request...

Hope you like it!

I probably should have gotten the hot option LOL, but hey it's working!

Did my first 445 build ultra conservative at 450mA with this host; now doing a 405 8x build with this host. After that's done, Jay, I *will* be back for one for a ~850-900mA 445. So let us know what those results are. I have the diodes coming, so.. am going to need to get the hosts :)
