He also has had problems with his lungs and the hospital is pretty far from where he lives so if he is having health problems again he may not be able to get on. Fairly straightforward. Jeff got trolled, time and again. A blind eye was turned to it, with minor consequences (if any) to the one doing the trolling.

He started trolling back, and at that point the situation caught attention and both parties got punished.

It happened more than once that way.

I know how Jeff feels because I've been there myself. Bottom line is double standards tend to leave people... well let's just say unhappy.

I'm glad to see c0ld took some action this last time against the last troll attempt, and how quickly it was dealt with. I'm sure other people on the mod team would have only deleted the post.

Thats not cool, thats not what I wanted to hear. I also have emailed him outside of LPF with no answer. I'm pretty sure if he was just pissed off, he would still answer emails from his friends.

Please post here if anybody hears anything at all.

I have an excellent idea of what did and didn't happen when I was personally involved on several occasions.

I've also seen a number of situations develop on the screen in front of me where other people were involved, and I only observed. In other cases some members were kind enough to inform me about what was happening. Not everything that's deleted on the forum is actually deleted, some quickly deleted posts do make it into email notifications.

Does this mean I know everything that's going on, on here all the time? No of course not, I'm not privy to deleted threads and logs, nor am I subscribed to all, or to receive notifications on every post. All I can base my conclusions on are the facts that are available to me.

From these facts I draw conclusions when certain inconsistencies occur very consistently, especially when the same exact elements are involved.

For example if the same drunk keeps starting fights at a bar, time and again, and the bouncers keep letting him back in, night after night, perhaps there is something more to the situation? After all they kicked out plenty of other unruly drunks?

Maybe they feel bad for the guy, or the guy has something on them, or they just think it's funny when he starts up fights. I mean so long as he doesn't attack them, who cares right?. So who can know?

Certainly not the regular patrons who just enjoy having a drink and chatting with their fellows peacefully.

We don't see what goes on with TJ and FP in private messages, neither do the mods unless one of the parties reports the message. I know TJ mentioned exchanging messages, and I also know FP likes to troll people through private messaging, and TJ just trolls people.....everywhere. In all reality, both parties were probably guilty and both people got banned. TJ returned with more trolling so he got banned again.

TJ will be back, and FP will be back (assuming he's alright)

I'm being purposefully ambiguous so as not to be censored, but to simply have a discussion meaningful discussion. It should be fairly obvious who I'm talking about though.

Please elaborate how my interpretation of the drunk's actions, and those of the bouncers is one sided?

Am I failing to see things from the drunk's perspective? Or from the perspective of the bouncers? What do you think is their interpretation of the matter?

@Mog - Oh I know they both did some trolling in the past... The difference to me is, over private messages I was able to have a nice conversation with one of them. Something I attempted with both of them, and now I consider one of them to be a nice guy, if a bit looney, guy. I'm no poster child for sanity either though (none of us are) so it's all good.
