First and Third Person shooter Games thread

No, just the most obvious one. If you held an AK or any other rifle in real life, you will imediately spot it.

Here's a hint, another weapon from the game, with exactly the same mistake:

Well, then i suppose you mean that both of them perhaps have the arming levers on the left, instead than on the right side, as normal :p
 
Well partially right.

What I mean was, they are completely mirrored. See the AK's bolt and ejection port? They are on the left side of the gun, and it's held right-handed.

Which means that, after two shots, you have both your nostrils plugged with ejected shell casings.

Also, see the animation for reloading a pistol. So cheap and unrealistic, who the hell puts their palm over the slide to pull it towards themselves? You'd shot yourself in your elbow in real life that way.

Not that bad looking at all. Sold my Homefront yesterday, my hardware was to weak.

Currently I´m playing Resistance3, hell of a game.
 
Hardware too weak? No way... If mine isn't...
What GPU do you have? With lowered resolution and some settings it should run on basically anything. Well admited, it isn't all that well optimised, average of 20-30 FPS on my system on everything maximum, but with lowered resolution and some after effects it is 30-40 FPS. Still, very playable.

Let's see, Resistance 3 ... *goes Googling...*

It´s a more than 4 years old VAIO FZ11Z, got Homefront for about 10€ new and sold it for 15€.

Resistance is a PS3 exclusive game.
 
Yeah I see, yet another game where you shoot up aliens... why is there not one game where aliens are the good guys for a change? Feeling sorry for them by now :D

I'll post more screenshots later if you guys are up to it.
I also got some Mass Effect 2 and Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood screenshots.
 
I play Call of Duty MW2 and Black ops ! I also play counter strike 1.6 and source !
 
Great news for me (and maybe a few others :beer:) !!!

On October 4th CRYSIS is available for the PS3! IMO it looks amazing (even without considering the age of the console!)

I'm thinking of maybe taking a day off in advance for the upcoming skyrim release... have this tendency to forget about time and play through the night if I get into the game.
