Don't feel sorry for this. It is a great opportunity to organize this free stuff lottery and you did it well ! I am sure Jeff will feel the same way. We have a great fun and that counts more.

I have contacted Jeffrey about the error that resulted in me winning and he graciously declined my offer to send the prize to him.

No hard feelings from anyone concerned. Matter of fact, more good feelings abound.
Looking forward to collecting a new 150mw 650nm unit. (And some safety glasses too !)

That's another reason I declined. I would be guilty of not having a pair of red safety glasses. (Got other pair. Just none for red)

You were/are an easy member to get to know and it felt like old friends quickly.
We have had some good times at LC. More to come.
I will get you to SELEM one of these years.... I would like to say I would have handled this like you did but I am not so sure... but I can say I wont forget it and I will try to be equally understanding in the future.

I was very lucky that my mistakes were forgiven so nicely.. we will be experts on freebie giveaways after this one.. I made it harder on myself than it needed to be.

Hope everybody has a nice wekend-

Hey Len...I personaly think you did a great job...and Maybe with a little more practice....hint hint. ;)

It certainly got a lot of traffic going! Participation is the key and I'm sure the vendor (and maybe OTHER Vendors) will take notice and sponsor more of these! :gj:

My pointer arrived today.

I got mine today, 10mW 650nm pen.

Metered in at a 75mW peak! It even came with a diffraction grating cap.

Thanks Cherry & Len!

Edit: Got a 107mW peak using my PSU as the power source :)
