You know, internet threats only do so much. You're obviously not going to travel all the way to wherever Tech_Junkie lives and beat him up. I don't see the need for pointless, violent words. And it's not even like they can be backed up by actions. Trash talk...

But Tech_Junkie, though you do have a reason to be mad at superkai (as does everybody), it's not okay to tell somebody to f**k themselves. C'mon man, you're only bringing yourself down to his level!
 
Well, harking back to the original post...

Greg (AKA Senkat) of Stonetek is not out to scam anybody and I've had plenty of transactions with him, both as a seller and a buyer. But, sometimes $h!t happens and people get behind or caught up in things... yes, that's not YOUR fault and know it is frustrating, but at least try a second email and have some patience for a reply (you do have 40 days to file a claim, so what's another few days?).

In all honesty, he was probably waiting on getting some drivers from me because I just restocked him about 10-12 days ago and I know he had quite a few orders waiting on them, probably including yours.

But, again, I'm not criticizing you for being concerned, but I do want to reiterate that your situation is not "usual," but rather it is likely due to circumstance. So, I don't condone any claim of him being a "scammer" or anything near untrustworthy.

Demonstrated pre-pube immaturity of the OP aside, if someone moves enough inventory to have an e-commerce website up, the person needs to take on the responsibilities of a good businessman. A week + 3 days of no communications is bad practice, and if you're sick, out of town, in a hurricane, going through a divorce, being sodomized by aliens, or whatever, POST A NOTICE ON THE WEBSITE. Even a little disclaimer saying that packages are sent out at the end of the week or whatever is good enough, as long as it informs the customer of the status of the order. I think Dr. Lava and Rckstr do that to some extent on their webpage which helps.

Good communication is one reason I feel DealExtreme, despite its 2-5 week packaging and shipping time, has excellent customer service. Sure their system is automated, but at least you know (or at least feel) your money hasn't gone into some blackhole.

That being said, I like to wait a week or so after sending a few "where's my junk?" emails before filing a dispute. With an unprofessional looking site like Greg's it usually means it's a small operation, so I cut it some slack. You have a month or two to deal with paypal disputes, anyway. I am pretty surprised Greg took so long; he usually ships stuff out very quickly.

Greg's immediate refund + ban reaction was pretty immature as well; especially when one would expect the same kind of immediate response to the "where's my junk?" emails. Like Kenom said, Greg's fuse has grown remarkably short over the past years. I don't expect any amends to be made. After superkai took efforts to make an ass of himself, I wouldn't bother either.

Exactly as I thought. He is a child with no patience. If he has to wait more then two days he gets upset. Then he resorts to Name calling and insults. A sure sign of one with no reasonable response.

Hey superkai, I too, once had a long delay from Stone Tec. I only mention it as I have some experience and perhaps, wisdom to relay here. I was very patient and communicated with respect privately. In the end, I was so very glad I was tactful and patient, Greg rewarded me many times over for being thoughtful and patient, and he completely apologized and admitted his fault in the delay.

BTW, it is never too late to go advanced and change the title of the thread and perhaps apologize to the forum folks & Greg. -Glenn

Not trying to drag this one but Greg mailed my stuff out rather quickly and was very helpful and nice and made sure I didn't do something to mess up my driver I purchased, not get a dummy load to test it with. I think he's running a really tight ship , things happen sometimes but he's bouncing back rather nicely. I'll keep buying from him for sure.
 
In my experience, I've found Greg to be a very decent and honest man who is willing to help people out. That's pretty rare these days. I deal with the public all the time and trust me, it's not easy to please everyone.
 
Greg is one of the MOST HONEST people you'll ever meet. If your order was delayed, It's probably 'cause of his health. Don't bite people on the ass just 'cause your order didn't arrive in 24 hrs............rob
 
I bought 3 drivers from Greg and they were not the correct one's, however he did take care of the issues very fast and promptly refunded my money once he recieved the drivers. I know I may have been a little impatent, then I found out he was in hospital, I do plan on buying other stuff when it becomes available. Hope you feel better Greg!!!
