also- for those new to LPF and maybe PP too--REMEMBER to click 'personal' then 'gift' -- this way your entire donation goes to LPF. There is no fees for either party when 'gift' is used.. Every little bit helps-- even the.30 and 3% that PP leeches away from us.

hey jay, the bar doesn't increase if donations are not made via the LPF web application, so like if people just manually send me paypal or whatever, it wolnt be logged in the web app

jay to fix problem what u can do, is go in the webapp, select the amount u sent me manually, and click next or whatever (u dont need to resend the money twice, just say 40 in the webapp). what this will do is still store the numeric value in the DB. then i can approve it.

sorry if this is confusing but if u fool around with the donate thing in the LPF webapp ithink u will see what i mean


so basically go to http://laserpointerforums.com/misc.php?do=donate

then pick the number and click next (once paypal website loads, u can close out of it )
after u do that let me know and ill try and approve ur thing in the webapp

Well as USUAL, I'm starting out the month with a RED FACE from embarrassment, & the fact that I let more than just ONE Forum Member, (like 5-6 of them) make the 1st donation for the Month & the NEW YEAR TOO !!!! I have been having PC problems with programs I want to access taking FOREVER to download. I know, it's NO excuse !!!! I have currently MADE my monthly donation, whether you'll see it this month or not is up to my PC, ERRRR ! Thanks to all whom have beat me to this (jayrob & others), & thanks to all who will follow their example. Please don't follow MY example, & wait till whenever, OK ? Thanks to all & shame on me !!! I hope this loads today, & not next week, ERRR !!!!!

sorry for delayed reply my baggage was stuck at JFK they failed to put it on the plane so i was without my primary laptop for like 2 days and the otherone just 512MB ram=( this 8gb ram. glad to have laptop back=)
