Countries of LPF. Where are you?

Ontario, Canada.

Glad to be here! (laser laws kinda suck here tho :crackup: ){also our dollar is bs right now}

Yeah unfortunately you're right, about the dollar anyways. I'm a manager at a truck-stop in Bangor, Maine (only a hundred miles from Quebec and New Brunswick) and we do Canadian Money Exchange there, and the rate when I left work yesterday was 33%, so it's roughly 31-32% lower than the USD at the moment. (We make a percent or two off the exchange.) BUT I remember about 6-7 years ago your was almost 50% lower than ours, then our economy hit bottom, and it was almost par so don't feel too bad ours is also BS! ;)

Yea, it's getting worse over time as well. last month our dollar was worth $0.75 USD, and is now $0.72. I've been reading 2016 is going to be even worse. It's a pretty bad problem :cryyy:

Considering its size, no one from Africa in the group?

Yea, that old map system distorts the true relative size of Africa to make it appear much smaller relative to other land masses, but it's far larger, here's another one:

Africa is indeed a large continent, but chances of someone posting here from it are rather small. Countries on the edges of it such as egypt, morocco or south africa have decent internet access and might be around, but don't expect much from the middle.

I'd bet that there are more users on here from the tiny 200x300 km country of the netherlands where i live than from the entire continent of africa.

For Africa there should at least be enough people with smart phones with Internet access that we should have more members from there. I think I remember a total of 6 in the time I have been here, 3 from South Africa and 3 from Egypt if I remember right. We still have one active member in South Africa but he never posts. The ones from Egypt never stay around, we had one recently from Egypt but then he hasn't posted again so I haven't added Egypt to the list yet until I am sure we have an active member from there. There are some people that join just to ask a question and then don't come back, we also have a few that never reveal their location. I am wondering too why we don't have members in India.

my history hehe original Yugoslavia /moved and lived in austria 2y , moved to germany lived 7y after germany / USA 15y, soon going back to eu to see to move back.
right now am in vt :)

Why do you want to move back to the EU? If you have been here for 15y why not stay. Are you worried about us becoming a police state or worried about unrest or war? The EU is falling apart too, I watch some news from several European countries everyday and now I fear for the future of all of us.

New Mexico, USA

(I'm in Colorado just as much though.)

I added New Mexico to the list, as far as I know you are currently the only one. I am surprised that all 50 states aren't represented here, right now we are at 40 states plus Puerto Rico.

The member map looks like it might have all 50 states, including a few in New Mexico. Looks like they haven't been active in 3 or 4 years though. I wouldn't be surprised if you could remove most of the members on that map by their activity.
