Hi everybody!
As a release from my drunken uncle's storytelling I've decided to spend my time making a review. *clears throat*
A little while back I received a laser from phi (DJNY) that took CNI about 5 months to build, this gem is a >90mW 589nm PGL-III-C. This laser is by far my favorite out of all of my lasers, even my 473s.
The first one they sent out didn't even like to go to 70mW, so here's their second take in my hands, it doesn't like to go below 100mW once it's warmed up (and for a good 30 seconds!) and I've seen a peak of 127mW. That wasn't with good cells either, I have some panasonics in the mail somewhere :can:
Once those show up I'll do a *proper* LPM chart
Anyway, for the eye candy!
There's one issue with the laser, the beam comes at an angle away from the ON/OFF paint
Other than that, I really think this looks nice
Since the divergence is extremely tight, it's not an issue for even my camera to find on the clouds
This next one was taken with all the lights on, no smoke and with the fastest exposure settings my camera allows.
Overall, I can't thank phi enough for this amazing laser, I'll +rep you when you post in here
So, any questions, comments, suggestions?
