Of course all people participating in this GB are excited and want their lasers yesterday. Maybe Glenn should add into his OP threads that it will take >6months usually.

Its just that we're told multiple times that it will come in a specified time and we're still waiting. I was told it would take just a month. Asked again a month later when it didn't come in then was told it would take another month. Now its been 4 months with still nothing. I never read anywhere nor did anybody tell me it would take half a year to get your laser. When you have hundreds of dollars of your money tied up in something that seems loosey goosey its unsettling. I would be more forgiving if I was informed of the actual time it would take to get to me instead of the same delay and generic response all the time. And an update from time to time about the order without asking would be appreciated too. Thats all I ask. I apologize if I sound incriminating in any way. I don’t mean to point fingers or are out to make anybody look bad, but I feel like I’m somewhat entitled to know about the details on something I bought.

How do you figure this CNI order has taken four months? As far as I can remember, Glenn placed the order mid-June. I was still inquiring about jumping in on the order at the beginning of June. So.... maybe 1.5 months now - but this hasn't taken 4 months.

It took at least 2 months, start to finish, for my 556nm custom from CNI. Patience is required when you're not just ripping a 445 diode from consumer electronics you bought at Staples, and plopping it into a flashlight host you bought from Walmart

Well, what IS the "start" of a group buy? Not the OP. Probably the collection of funds and submission to CNI. Wasn't that mid-June?

My bad I didn't include the GBP-473 it does a good 8 mW peak steady at ~6 mW

^^ No, I am sure you will like the output pal! I included the level before any warm-up! It's one of the best 473nm I have seen!
