CNI GB #12 (Fast as we can do it!)

Thanks for the info Glenn. So a 3v at full charge ~3.6v should be ok? I'll just have to remember to just flip the switch. Although with a good protected cell that shouldn't really hurt anything if I forget to.

I receive my lasers.

GLP-473nm It's ok. But it's 4-7mW only.

Now with my GLP-589nm,
1) Starting from 2mW and doing 0.5-0.4mW. Very unstable.
2) Dot is not 1 Dot. LOL It's 6 dots. Isn't TEM00.
3) Lens it has Glue on it.

Very Bad Job. :(

I want to Send it back.

Now you have 6 589nm lasers :D

As far as I can see, many of the GB CNI units are by far not that good than at the single orders.

Please do return it eytyxhs , I didn't see those things, but I do believe you, and I need to tell CNI the S/N and get them to authorize the return... T/Y -GH

Glenn, you earn enough money on these CNI GBs that a bit more quality control, especially on the expensive, sensitive known 589nm, must be possible!

Hmm. I may have to send mine back too which sucks because it works great when it works. The button on mine sticks pretty bad. I think last night when I laid it down and the button was brushed against something and killed the battery -- or I hope it's only the battery. It metered at 2.75v which may be too low to power it. Not sure how I can test it without getting a new battery.

Earn? I don't know if I'll even do another one...

Please let me know ASAP, as I like to return all at one shipment... -Glenn

Glenn I can let you know by late afternoon tomorrow. I have to go grab another battery and not having a vehicle makes that impossible until tonight at the earliest. I'm hoping that it just chewed through the lower capacity CR2 and there's nothing wrong with the laser itself! if I can figure out how to attach my bench supply to the - spring I could test it with that.
