Just did a whole bunch of testing, on all the skylasers I have... at least until the second part of my order arrives.
Here are the results;
1. HL532 50mW - 114mW peak, fluctuates between 90-110mW, ~95mW at ~1 minute mark.
2. HL532 50mW - 135mW peak, starts off at peak and quickly drops to ~115mW, slowly loses power after that, and stays around 60mW at the 2 minute mark.
2. HL532 50mW - 134mW peak, warms up to peak in about 10 seconds, fairly stable slow drop down, still at 110mW at about 1 minute.
4. HL532 300mW - 557mW peak, IR content ~150mW, laser seems very erratic, needs more testing.
Original GB Lasers
1. HL532 300mW - 690mW peak, uneven fluctuation between 550-650mW at 550mW at 1 minute mark, ~50mW IR content.
2. HL532 150mW - 187mW peak, long warmup to peak starting from ~50mW, stable at around 160mW.
I'm very pleased with the results of the HL532 50mW lasers.
The 300mW I will test again, because it was all over the place. Recharging the batteries right now to do some more testing.
While I was at it, I decided to re-test the lasers I received in the last GB, the results are also above.
What has me concerned is, the 150mW laser I got in the original GB, used to peak at ~280-300mW. Right now it reached a much lower peak. While still on spec, this is worrying if it's degrading. I will be re-testing this laser again once batteries recharge.
The cases for two of my lasers have bad hinges. I don't care about the cases all that much, and even suggested ditching them, but still it kind of sucks.
The additional diffraction caps, and two extra plugs for the original GB were not included, I expect they are coming in the second part of the order.
I'll update again once I retest the 300mW laser.
