I hope it is an ancient as it looks and I hope the switch can be removed like they say.. They say it's 1927 ish I need to do a double tripple build in this... 3W 638? sinle mode.
Sounds like fun.
I actually could use the removal tools b4 the press.. if anyone has some good tool prices! or I just leave tthe dead where they lay.. nothing lands in a steel aixis anymore...

Yep the 3.8mm presses are from Jeff he also has the original 5.6mm presses and now 9mm presses as well. See this thread.

You can use the sleeve you have for both presses. Yes the aluminum back half's are awesome. The best part is you keep the ability to use a diode press with the rear threaded copper modules and for those that wanted the ones without rear threads for the extra surface area transfer you can keep the back half on since it is pure aluminum not brass like the Aixiz it will have decent heat transfer through the threads and you can cut the it down to what ever size you need to fit your host.

lazeerer , everyone trusts you, as I do, that's not the problem.
GB's can go either way , and yeah there are some waiting times invlolved.
If you trust these suppliers then that's cool with me I'll wait :beer:

If things work out and we get some killer diodes, that'd be fantastic. If things go south, it's not the end of the world. Matter of fact, if it comes down to issuing refunds, you can take my $20 and donate it to LPF.

PED that tesla coil has got to be the strangest thing I have ever seen... it looks like you even braught out the 45 record player for that.. Nice Job.. Sorry Fiddz again... I try to help but sometimes my fingers do the walking.. I may have use for a breathalizer on my keyboard... Cuz when the fingers have had enough they all have brains of there own...

Through all of this I think people need to remember that GB's may not always go as expected. For some of us its worth the risk for the chance of getting something exotic / unusual / cheap that wouldn't be possible otherwise. If it's not worth the risk of something going bad, you probably shouldn't be in it.
lazeerer has done his best here and is still doing it. If a supplier screws up it's not his fault.
I'll wait, its worth the risk.
That's my 2c worth anyway.

Ok So here is the Latest Update.
This does not apply to those that want to wait with my 30pcs order which i will keep in past the deadline.
I sent them a message with a Dead line of Next Friday Aug, 10.....
For these member that do not want to wait with us that is the cut off time where they will need a total number from me of diodes that i want to be refunded for.
So Thursday Aug,9 i will ask and get the total from anyone that wants a refund.
Once i give them the total number on Aug,10 iam Assuming that it will take a few days for them to issue the refund to me. Then i will issue those refunds to you guys.
Again thank you for all your patients. Its been a tough GB but iam still full force trying.
What kills me more is today i received a laser back that i built for someone using one of the original diodes that did the 450mW-500mW of power. Seeing it has gave me even more drive. I told them iam willing to pay more to get them out of my own pocket for everyone. At this point i dont care i just want them.!
