Blue laser diodes for sale from new projector 3500 luminems projector






I hate to say it, but the fact that there are more diodes per projector (FYI: I see 40 holes too - 8 x 5) is probably a bad thing.

Applying some math based on our A140 projector containing 24:
2500 (lumens) / 24 = ~104

The 1600 containing 32:
3500 (lumens) / 32 = ~109

And if it does actually contain 40:
3500 (lumens) / 40 = ~86

That number (104, 109, or 86) has no unit, it's not an actual measure of anything, other than a rough estimate of the amount of lumens each diode is responsible for contributing to. The long and the short of it is that even if these projectors only have 32 diodes, we're only looking at about 4 or 5% more contribution of light per diode. Given that we all KNOW these diodes to be capable of maybe 100% more output than they're being driven for in the A140, the only logical conclusion is that these are EXACTLY the same diode.

Hey, maybe it's Same price as a-140s? Other than if it was more diodes for same price I can't think of any advantages, I doubt they are different diodes

Giving one out of 40 will not harm your profit. In fact, if someone tests one you will sell much more diodes and easier. ( if they turn out to be the similar to the common 445nm diodes. )

Why not offer DTR one at cost to test-- his word on 445 diodes and builds is not questioned here. To get $75 each, IMO, you would need to press them into AixiZ modules with AixiZ 445 glass lens and silicon wire leads attached. and even then you would do better on ebay (as a labby part only) than here. GL

Hey ripper. If your thinking of doing a hit and run here it wont fly. We are not stupid, and we dont waste money on non-tested items. Not multiples anyway. We request a review unit from nearly all retailers who want to sell here. You're no different. If your diodes are tested to be truly higher powered diodes, you will sell the lot in a day or two. But obviously if they are the same as the old ones we will laugh your thread off the forum. So if you think these are higher powered it would be smart to send a sample. If you dont know, then I guess your smart to take the stance you are now.

So between your passed dealings, and the stance you are taking now, I'm inclined to believe these are the same, and priced $35 more than what we pay for them. So we will stick with our tried and true source, and save the $35.

Just had a quick look and the MSRP is $1799.00USD

Casio Projectors: Casio XJ-H1600 DLP projector

$1799.00 / 32 = $56.25 per diode cost....


I found this one $50.00 cheaper...

I'm sure there is still a lot of other usable stuff
in that projector..
