Blue laser diodes for sale from new projector 3500 luminems projector

It's not clear whether these have 32 or 40 diodes per array. I want to reiterate that even with 32 diodes per array, they wouldn't need to be any more powerful than those found in an A140. With 40 diodes per array, they could actually be less powerful.

Regardless, the OP hasn't been on this forum in almost two weeks. If this was a "hit and run", then he's already proceeded to the run stage. Dead deal, hopefully dead thread ;)

The Seller quotes 32 Laser Diodes in the Projector in Post #7
and Post #24... :thinking:

He also states that one row of the 40 holes have no LDs in
them in post #14....

In that case, by my math in post #20, we're looking at each diode being responsible for 109 lumens in this projector, vs 104 lumens in an A140.

In other words, excitement is unfounded. That's less than a 5% difference.

Well, that was an interesting read! I found this on a google search trying to learn more about the various 445 diodes out there.

Did this guy ever come back?

I don't think so - and at $75 per diode, hopefully he didn't sell any.

Luminem = Eminem's cousin?
