What I ultimately got from a similar scam was this:

I got scammed for like $140 for an HID last christmas but paypal refunded me. I got a glass bead in the mail. Some other people that were scammed by the seller recieved bags of powder!

I knew something when they were getting nailed with neg rep as people recieved their items.

But for $20 :thinking:

I just realized it is the exact same ad as the one I got scammed on.

I am going with whatever this is considered...... a glass trinket/jewelry.

This is what I received when I bought the same thing as what this person is selling for $20. I paid $140 for this lol paypal refunded me though.



You guys also have to watch out with the shipping time because I couldn't file a didn't receive claim until it was passed the original shipping eta. This piece of crap came a over week after the it was supposed to be delivered. This would of put me passed 40 days but because they saw all the negs the seller was getting the reimbursed me and everyone else.

Funny how in the end, they end up scamming themselves out of shipping and whatever the product cost :D

I'm not quite sure about the seller side of PP, but couldn't the seller have taken out the funds and disappeared already?

He hasn't. Gave me a refund the day after a PP dispute was opened. Got the refund today and PP case was closed automatically. No questioned asked. *If* an actual HID flashlight shows up, I will be happy to send him the asking price plus a little more for the hassle. However I'm very doubtful that anything was actually shipped since I never got a tracking number.

So my official guess is "Nothing".

One more thing guys .
Because the seller has listed this under CARS we have no recourse at all just been having it out with ebay.
ITS a scam for sure. another one on the chin for me !!
 
The seller just got some feed back for the HID torch....

The user that left feedback seems to be a legit ebayer...
 
The fact that he only has 88 feedback points doesn't add to his credibility, but who writes like "Thank you.Hope to do business with you in the future A++++" except Chinese merchants?
 
Hmm your right... I just went through his feedback... he leaves the exact same message for everyone he buys off... Plus his purchases are really random...

and I bet all his purchases are for Chinese crap even without lookin
Also if I receive my torch and there is nothing wrong with it I will make a video of me eating my hat in public.

I saw an HID ballast for cheap at Fasttech, much cheaper than I had remembered from last time I was looking for ballasts. Here's hoping you at least get a non-working HID light
