The omission of his name by you (or bennet for that matter) does not change the implied content of your message.

The reason I made such blatantly insulting statement was to illustrate a point.

In doing so I am using you, and insulting you, for this I apologize.

The point I'm trying to make is you, and other people tend to completely ignore insults when they are not directed at you. This is natural. You should however recognize that the targets of such insults to do not feel the same way.

Would you care to guess how many times TJ directed such childish insults at people all over this forum? Suffice it to say, many, many times.

@Meatball - I see your point, and would never deny the contributions made by Dave and others to the forum. Personally I often found Dave's sense of humor to be extremely on point and entertaining, and also miss reading his posts.

That said, with my shorter tenure here, I did not find the contributions made by TJ during the past year and a half, to be anywhere equal to the negativity he brought here.
